I am contracted by Acuity as an Emergency Medicine Physician and Hospitalist stationed in Baghdad, Iraq. It is not often after 28 years in any career that you are still challenged, but I can say that I am. This experience has been mentally stimulating and rewarding for me. There are always new problems to solve, as I practice often in austere conditions with limited testing and specialists available. I have broadened my medical practice, interacted with many different nationalities, and been exposed to medical conditions I’ve only read about in textbooks. I thrive on the patient-centered care and support base that Acuity provides across the globe.

Case Management has been very rewarding in many different aspects of my personal and professional growth. Knowing how we can help another human being in any situation they might be in, is extremely satisfying to me. I feel like I belong to a group of professionals that have passion for what we do on a daily basis. Few careers can say that, but we can!

This is the first job that I have ever fallen in love with. I adore the people that I work with, and I’ve built long-term relationships with so many people throughout the company. I also really enjoy the purpose. My job makes me feel l am doing something that matters and that’s really important to me.

The most rewarding thing about working in case management is providing support and resources to unaccompanied children and sponsors who are not familiar with their community services.

I absolutely love working at Acuity. It’s given me the opportunity to connect, to make friends, and to really grow within the workplace. I am fortunate enough that I was promoted within my first year. And that’s all because of the relationships and the people that I work with. It’s such a fun and welcoming environment.

In Recruiting, the best part of my job is absolutely the people. I have the pleasure of connecting with individuals across so many different disciplines and backgrounds that provide texture to the organization. I’m in a unique position where I am constantly reminded that a new job can change someone’s life and, through every conversation, I have the opportunity to learn something new. It’s amazing to bring an employee into the fold and watch them flourish while they rise through the ranks here.
