At Acuity International, we believe that building stronger communities starts with compassion, connection, and action. We are proud to continue supporting charitable initiatives in 2025 that make a tangible difference for our neighbors in Brevard County, FL.

Supporting Heart Health and Saving Lives

In Brevard County, we presented a $3,000 donation to the Lauren Boss Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit committed to preventing sudden cardiac arrest in young athletes and everyday youth. Founded by a local mother and registered nurse who lost her 21-year-old daughter, Lauren, to sudden cardiac arrest, the foundation works tirelessly to place Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in schools and on sports fields, while also providing CPR training and AED instruction to the community. Our contribution will help fund additional AEDs, ensuring more people have the tools and training to respond when every second counts.

Serving with Purpose at Matthew’s Hope

In Cocoa Beach, FL, Acuity team members volunteered at Matthew’s Hope, a ministry devoted to restoring dignity and independence to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. From serving warm meals to sharing heartfelt conversations, our team connected with guests and supported their path toward stability. We provided lunch from local favorite Papa Vitos, who generously opened early to help us prepare before our shift. Serving 17 municipalities, Matthew’s Hope operates outreach programs that meet basic needs while empowering guests to develop skills and rebuild their independence.

Looking Ahead

These experiences reaffirm our belief that social support is not a one-time effort – it’s a lasting commitment. By partnering with impactful local organizations, we strive to create a safer, stronger, and more connected community where we live and work.
